20 Weeks and Ever Expanding

Out with the Spare Bedroom and in with the Nursery

I couldn't wait any longer. The spare bed has been taken out (well almost...the mattress is

still in the hallway) and the crib has been put in. After several months of researching the internet for baby furniture and baby bedding that has no frills, no pastels and no cheesiness,

I have found the perfect furniture and bedding. The bedding is called Moda from Banana Fish and it is a rich chartreuse and chocolate with circles and stripes.

After 3 coats of a coordinating chartreuse green paint, the stage has been set. For now,

we have the basics...a crib, a changing table and a cowhide rug to satisfy my animal print

fur fetish. And of course, the crib is filled with pillows so the cats can enjoy the crib until July.

Once July comes, the pillows will be replaced with a mattress and the crib will be

enclosed with a "cat repelling" tent!

And by the way.....it's a BOY!
